STUDENT ARTIST ENTRY FORM

The
Rotary has many programs under it’s Youth Services initiative aimed at assisting the youth of today to develop and take leadership roles in society.

Emerging Artists Section for Senior School Students.

The Rotary Club of Warrandyte Donvale is proud to be able to offer local up and coming young artists the opportunity to exhibit their works.

Senior school artists can get the thrill of exhibiting at the region’s largest professional art show in a special section of the art show. Student’s art will be listed in the catalogue and judged by our appointed accredited judge as part of the overall art show. All local  senior schools are eligible to enter the art show in a special category dedicated to emerging artists.

Schools are invited to select up to 10  outstanding paintings from senior students for exhibition at the art show. All young artist works will be displayed together in a special hall at the show.

Entry for the student’s art is free and all school students are invited to attend the Saturday and Sunday open days for free.

Sale of Painting
Students may elect to sell their art.
These  paintings will  be available for purchase at a price nominated by the artist. The terms and conditions of exhibiting at the show will also apply to this art.

Entry
All Student art should be entered by their School art coordinators.
Firstly select the top 10 pieces of final year student’s art.
Then the school Art co-ordinator will collectively enter using this  PDF FORM. 

The entry must be lodged by the closing date

Judging
Judging will take place by the appointed judge from 2pm on the opening day.
​

Delivery & Collection of Student Artwork
All art must be framed and ready to hang.
Delivery will take place between 2 to 4 pm on opening day.
Art is available for collection on following Monday between 9 to 11am

30 YEARS of experience
The Rotary Warrandyte Art Show has grown over the 3 decades to where up to 600 works are exhibited . From a small event it has graduated through many stages of growth in a range of venues including schools, halls and  Mechanics Institute. For many years it was staged in a large marquee on the banks of the Yarra.

Student Artist Prizes

A First Prize of $200 will be awarded.

5 X special achievement prizes of $100 will be awarded by our judge  in recognition of senior student outstanding effort.
